A.R., an alumna of Phillips Academy Andover, the no.1 private high school in the US, earned her bachelor’s degree with honors from Yale University. She has experience working at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington DC. She co-authored “Creating a Stable Asia”, published by Carnegie Publishing Ltd in 2016. A.R. is fluent in English, French, and Mandarin and has co-translated several works in political science.

Currently based in Boston, A.R. works full-time in essay tutoring and writing. With over four years of mentoring experience at Aucta, she has successfully guided more than 40 students in gaining admission to prestigious global universities.

C.X. received her bachelor’s degree from Rice University, where she was actively involved in research projects exploring genetic variations influencing fruit fly behavior. Currently, she is furthering her education in the life sciences at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University. C.X. plans to enroll in the university's medical school next year to pursue a Doctor of Medicine degree, deepening her expertise in clinical medicine.

F.C. earned her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and Computational Science from Georgia Institute of Technology. She is a Senior Engineer and Project Manager at a leading engineering consulting firm in Boston.

F.C. has successfully assisted more than 30 AUCTA students in securing admission to prestigious graduate programs. She specializes in helping students recognize their unique strengths and craft clear, persuasive personal statements. Additionally, F.C. provides comprehensive career planning guidance to students aspiring to careers in STEM fields.

CORNELL UNIVERSITY

E.F. is a graduate of Cornell University. His academic interest is in big data analysis, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Currently, E.F. works in technology and strategic consulting. He pursues his passion for creativity by performing and playing electronic music in his leisure time.

Having gotten perfect scores in both the math and reading sections of the SAT, E.F. provides private SAT tutoring sessions to students. Over the last two years, he has successfully helped over 10 AUCTA students gain admission to prestigious universities.

UCLA

E.L., an honors graduate from UCLA, cultivated a deep interest in global cultures during his undergraduate years. He brings over four years of expertise in aiding students in both Southern California and China with their writing and college applications. Post-graduation, he balances these efforts with his entrepreneurial pursuits.

E.L. has effectively helped numerous AUCTA students from varied backgrounds gain admission to top US universities, including New York University, Boston University, and UCLA.

COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY / HARVARD UNIVERSITY

S.L. holds a bachelor's degree from Columbia University and a master's degree from Harvard University., and is currently a doctoral candidate at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Her research centers on the politics of Sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in the context of warfare. S.L. has authored numerous papers on post-conflict legacy issues, post-war stability, and institutional development.

AMHERST COLLEGE

M.L. received her bachelor’s degree from Amherst College, a top liberal arts college in the US. For the last two years, she has been engaged in climate detection research, earning a scholarship for her work on global sustainable development in the Arctic Circle. Additionally, she is actively involved in co-managing an international renewable energy charity with fellow Amherst College alumni.

M.L. has a strong track record in helping students from China, America, and Korea with their college applications, aiding over 30 students in gaining admission to their desired institutions.

BOSTON UNIVERSITY / NEW YORK MEDICAL COLLEGE

L.H. received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology from Boston University in 2018 with a full scholarship. She furthered her education with a Master's degree from New York Medical College.

L.H. has worked with AUCTA since the 2016-17 application season, taking on roles such as the Chief Essay Consultant and Application Business Manager. She has guided over 30 students through their application processes, with many gaining admission to Ivy League and other top-tier universities.

T.S. graduated from Penn State University with an MA and from the University of Minnesota with a Ph.D., both in the field of mass communication. He has taught communication and consumer behavior at three U.S. universities and has experience in the marketing research industry. Presently, he operates his own consulting firm specializing in litigation research.

A.Z. graduated from NYU with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and from the University of Chicago with a master’s degree in Social Sciences. She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Psychology at St. John's University. Being an American-born Chinese, she is proficient in both Chinese and English and has experience teaching English in Shanghai.

S.Y. earned her undergraduate degree in Comparative Human Development from the University of Chicago and then completed her MA in Philosophy and Education at Columbia University's Teacher's College. She currently teaches 1st to 5th grade at NY Sun Works, where she channels her deep passion for education. Additionally, Sarah assists students with SAT preparation and college application processes.

N.G. graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a double major in screenwriting and animation. Since 2019, he has been employed as an essay consultant at a high-end international education agency in Nanjing, specializing in editing college application essays. He has played a pivotal role in assisting over 50 students from China to gain admission to top US universities, including Harvard, Yale, and Princeton.

J.R. is a "Triple Gator" at the University of Florida, having earned a B.S. in chemistry (with minors in education and the classics), an M.S. in physics, and a Ph.D. in particle physics for his work on rare Higgs boson decays while at CERN. Over the years, J.R. has tutored over 150 students in private 1-on-1 sessions in university-level chemistry, physics, calculus, statistics, programming, and Latin.

J.R. is an entrepreneur at heart and has recently started his own software and data science consulting firm in Gainesville, FL. In the meantime, he is eager to help Chinese students achieve their greatest academic dreams by gaining admission into top-level US universities.
